We are looking for a Backend Developer to work on a project using PL/SQL and Node/Nest stacks. You will be responsible for building and evolving APIs, integrations, and the orchestration layer between the frontend and data services, with a strong focus on performance and best practices. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain APIs and services in the BFF layer using Node.js/NestJS, following hexagonal architecture (ports \& adapters) * Model, build, and evolve Oracle database structures, ensuring data integrity and consistency * Develop and optimize business logic in PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors) * Perform query tuning and execution plan analysis to ensure high performance * Design and implement integrations between internal/external systems and services * Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability * Collaborate with the Angular front-end team to define API contracts * Use Git version control following the Git Flow workflow * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's technical quality **Requirements** * Experience with Node.js and NestJS * Experience with hexagonal architecture or other port-and-adapter-oriented architectures * Solid knowledge of Oracle databases, including: * Advanced PL/SQL development (procedures, functions, packages, triggers) * Relational data modeling * Query optimization and tuning (indexes, execution plan analysis) * Handling large volumes of data * Experience creating and consuming REST APIs * Proficiency in Git and the Git Flow workflow * Best practices for application performance and optimization **Nice-to-have** * Experience with AWS (compute, messaging, and/or storage services) * Knowledge of Apache Kafka for messaging and event processing * Security and authentication using JWT, OAuth2 * Familiarity with the Angular ecosystem (for better collaboration with the front-end) * Experience with Oracle administration and monitoring tools Compensation: R$8\.000,00 per month Work location: Remote
