Job Summary: Youse is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end development of Data Science solutions, build and maintain APIs and services, and mentor junior data scientists. Collaborate with business areas to generate measurable impact Youse is hiring a **Senior Data Scientist**. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead end\-to\-end development of Data Science solutions, from conception through deployment and monitoring; * Design scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and feature engineering (batch and near real\-time); * Develop, train, and validate Machine Learning models (classification, regression, survival analysis, recommendation, etc.); * Define and implement model versioning, reproducibility, and governance strategies; * Build and maintain APIs and services to deploy models into production; * Monitor model performance (drift, degradation, business metrics) and propose continuous improvements; * Collaborate with business areas to translate problems into analytical solutions and generate measurable impact; * Lead technical discussions, support architectural decisions, and promote best practices within the team; * Mentor junior data scientists, fostering the team’s technical growth; * Ensure technical documentation and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Proven experience in Data Science / Machine Learning in production environments; * Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit\-learn, numpy, etc.); * Experience building data pipelines and handling large-scale data (Spark/PySpark or equivalent); * Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling; * Practical experience deploying models (APIs, batch jobs, microservices); * Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including data and ML services; * Experience with code and model versioning (Git, MLflow or similar); * Solid understanding of statistics and model evaluation; * Ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives from start to finish; * Strong communication skills for interacting with business areas and technical teams. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with production ML architectures (MLOps); * Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, SageMaker, Airflow, or similar; * Experience with pricing, churn, recommendation, or risk models; * Knowledge of data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar); * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar); * Experience in high-scale environments and cross-functional teams; * Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or marketplace sectors; * Knowledge of advanced techniques (Deep Learning, NLP, etc.). **Additional Information** Work Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week, 3 days remote) Working Hours: 7.5 hours/day Employment Type: CLT Location: Pinheiros/SP **Youse Seguros is a brand of CAIXA Group and CNP Assurances**, founded in 2016\.
