The Vetta Team understands the importance of teamwork and collaboration to deliver results that reach across the globe — while simultaneously **transforming each individual’s career.** **If you want to share your perspective on building a more sustainable world, join the Vetta Team!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **In this team, you will have the opportunity to:** * Develop and maintain procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in PL/SQL; * Optimize SQL queries and resolve performance issues (e.g., using Explain Plan); * Design and adjust data structures (tables, indexes, views, cursors) to ensure integrity and efficiency; * Develop data migration and maintenance scripts; * Collaborate with development, DBA, and architecture teams to implement corporate best practices and standards; * Use GitHub Copilot daily as a development support tool, contributing to increased productivity, code quality, and adherence to best practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we expect from you for this role:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; * Experience with PL/SQL in Oracle environments (11g, 12c, 18c, or 19c); * Experience with performance optimization (e.g., index usage, partitioning, hints); * Familiarity with Oracle tools (SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, Oracle Enterprise Manager) and version control. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices; * Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate); * Experience with ETL process automation and integration with Big Data tools. **Additional Information** **OUR BENEFITS:** As a people-focused company, we consistently strive to value our team.
