Ready for a career that delivers greater returns? **Check out this opportunity and \#JoinPagBank!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct independent and objective assessments of processes, internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance, contributing to continuous improvement, compliance with internal and external regulations, and achievement of organizational strategic objectives. * Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with the Annual Audit Plan, evaluating operational, financial, accounting, and compliance processes. * Analyze the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying risks, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. * Assess adherence to internal policies, standards, and applicable legislation. Prepare clear and objective audit reports with practical and feasible recommendations. * Monitor the implementation of action plans arising from conducted audits. * Support the evolution of the audit function through implementation of continuous auditing, development of key performance indicators, and use of analytics. * Support risk assessments, process reviews, and special projects. Interact consultatively with audited areas while maintaining technical competence, ethical conduct, and independence. * Stay up-to-date on regulations, audit best practices, internal controls, and governance. * Strong exposure to critical audit topics. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. * Prior experience in internal audit, external audit, or internal controls/risk management roles. * Proficiency in audit methodology, accounting principles, process analysis, internal controls, and risk assessment and mitigation. * Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as COSO, ISO, SOX, and AML (where applicable). * Strong technical writing and critical analytical skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, ACL, IDEA, Python, or similar). * Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and automated audit tests. * Familiarity with concepts of continuous auditing and control monitoring. **Additional Information** **To stand out in this role, it would be advantageous if you also have:** * Knowledge of regulations applicable to financial institutions and payment institutions, and standards from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IPPF). * Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CCSA, CPA, CRC in good standing, CISA, among others). * Experience in financial institutions and/or payment institutions. * Experience with Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) inspections. * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
