Ensure operational continuity and service efficiency **Job Description** **Hybrid Work Model:** For this position, physical presence in the office is required three times per week. **The Role:** The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing building infrastructure services, focusing on administration of housekeeping and maintenance contracts. Ensuring operational continuity, safety, technical compliance, and service efficiency, while guaranteeing high-quality standards, competitive costs, and a positive user experience within the facilities. **Your Responsibilities:** **Contract Management** ----------------------- * Administer building maintenance, housekeeping, and other facilities-related contracts, ensuring compliance with scope, SLAs, and established KPIs. * Conduct continuous monitoring of performance indicators, implementing corrective actions and improvement plans as needed. * Lead periodic performance meetings with vendors to evaluate results, costs, and optimization opportunities. * Technically assess vendor proposals, reviewing scopes, schedules, and costs prior to purchase requisitions. * Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies for all contracts under your responsibility. **Facilities Operations** * Oversee execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance routines for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil, automation, etc.). * Ensure quality of cleaning, conservation, and related services, maintaining appropriate standards across administrative and production areas. * Identify operational deviations and propose technical solutions based on root cause analysis. * Provide technical support for layout improvements, renovations, and minor construction projects related to areas covered by contracts. * Ensure timely updates of data in CAFM, MIFTS, or equivalent corporate systems. **Financial Management** * Develop and monitor forecast and budgetary control (OPEX and CAPEX) related to construction contracts. * Identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality or operational safety. * Validate monthly measurements, invoices, and contractual deliverables. **Location:** São Caetano do Sul/SP **Your Skills and Competencies (Required Qualifications):** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline) * Advanced English language proficiency * Experience in facilities contract management, particularly maintenance and housekeeping. * Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, automation, civil, etc.). * Familiarity with data analysis tools, Excel/Power BI * Proficiency in procurement processes, SAP, and financial contract management. * Willingness to travel domestically **What May Set You Apart (Desired Qualifications):** --------------------------------------------------------------------- * Planning and organization. * Assertive communication and stakeholder management. * Critical analysis and problem-solving. * Process orientation and continuous improvement. * Data-driven decision-making capability. * Proactivity and results focus. \#LI\-AS \&\#xa;\&\#xa;\&\#xa;\&\#xa; **About GM** Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all. **Why Join Us** We believe we all must make a choice every day – individually and collectively – to drive meaningful change through our words, our deeds and our culture.
