**What are we looking for?** We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with solid experience in Java 8, EJB, JPA, and RESTful API development. The professional will work on critical projects, focusing on system performance, security, and scalability. Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and integration across distributed systems is essential. An analytical, collaborative profile with strong delivery capability in regulated environments is expected. Experience in the financial sector will be considered a differentiator. It is important to have experience in systems analysis, including requirements gathering, estimation, and project planning. Experience leading development teams, with strong expertise in data mapping, SQL, and Java development—including its major architectures—is required. Knowledge of distributed systems and the Angular framework is desirable. **Key Responsibilities:** Define development best practices; Program, code, and test systems in the relevant language, transitioning between Front-End and Back-End development projects; Implement complex system functionalities; Propose technological enhancements to systems. Monitor adherence to system development best practices. Validate the existing test coverage in projects; Validate new application features; Monitor application system performance; Propose technological enhancements to systems; Anticipate opportunities and issues—acting quickly and effectively by developing preventive solutions; Support junior developers and contribute to project decision-making; Perform system maintenance, implementing necessary changes to meet user needs; Carry out program assembly, debugging, and testing tasks, providing maintenance services for already-developed programs. **Requirements:** Familiarity with Angular for front-end development. Proficiency in Java: Solid experience with Java, especially version 8. Experience with EJB (Enterprise JavaBeans). Knowledge of JPA (Java Persistence API) and Hibernate. REST API Development: Strong expertise in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs. Desirable experience in implementing and customizing reports using JasperReports. Strong knowledge of relational databases. Experience with advanced SQL queries.
