Implement data governance and standardization across databases **JOB DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a **Data Product Manager (DPM)** to lead Carbigdata’s data acquisition, enrichment, and governance strategy. The core mission of this role is to ensure the company maintains the most comprehensive, reliable, and up-to-date automotive database in the market, converting large volumes of raw data into high-value, actionable, and predictive products. This is a strategic role involving technical and legal feasibility analysis for new data sources, management of external data vendors, definition of data quality standards, and direction of scalable business-enabling solutions. **DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Drive public and private data acquisition strategy, evaluating technical and legal feasibility for each source while ensuring compliance with LGPD and terms of use. * Lead web scraping initiatives, including defining technical extraction criteria, configuring proxies/headless browsers, and validating architecture. * Manage external data vendors—from RFPs, negotiations, and technical alignment to SLA monitoring, quality sampling, and delivery performance. * Transform raw data into strategic products by collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to develop models, scores, APIs, and predictive reports. * Validate data readiness, accuracy, and latency prior to ingestion into production pipelines, ensuring APIs and dashboards reflect updated and trustworthy information. * Implement data governance and standardization across databases, defining matching rules, enrichment logic, and quality criteria to support scalability and consistency of data products. * Support technical discussions with engineers and data scientists, ensuring product decisions align with architecture and automotive market needs. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:** * Proven experience in Big Data, Data Science, or Analytics projects within high-volume environments. * Hands-on experience acquiring external data, including legal feasibility analysis and strategic vendor management. * Track record building Machine Learning–based products, data APIs, or decision engines. * In-depth knowledge of data regulations, including LGPD, legal compliance, and terms-of-use analysis. * Experience managing SLAs, data quality metrics, and data validation mechanisms. * Advanced proficiency in SQL and Big Data tools such as Spark, Snowflake, or BigQuery. * Familiarity with BI tools like Looker or Tableau for analysis and validation. * Experience with web scraping (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium) and use of proxies/headless browsers. * Technical knowledge of Data Wrangling, Data Quality, Data Matching, and Data Enrichment. * Practical experience with data governance, compliance, and policies for handling public and private data. **OUR BENEFITS:** * Meal/food allowance * Mobility assistance * Health insurance (Sulamerica) * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Birthday day off * Childcare assistance Join the transformation of the automotive market in Brazil! **\#VemSerCarBigData**
