If you want to be part of this evolution and grow alongside Ponta, this opportunity could be yours! **We currently have an opening for a Data Engineering Intern—check out the details below!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Data Base Organization and Processing:** Assist in organizing, cleaning, and standardizing databases originating from diverse sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability for internal analyses and processes; * **Building and Evolving Data Pipelines:** Support the development and continuous improvement of data pipelines using Airflow and AWS services, contributing to automation and efficiency in data ingestion, transformation, and delivery workflows; * **DAG Maintenance:** Provide support for maintaining and evolving existing DAGs, ensuring adherence to best practices in development, version control, and code organization; * **Monitoring and Execution Support:** Monitor DAG executions, assisting in identifying, analyzing, and resolving failures—with team support—to ensure process stability and reliability; * **Collaborative Involvement in Data Projects:** Work closely with data engineers, Product Owners, and data scientists, actively participating in projects and progressively increasing the complexity of deliverables as technical skills advance; * **Technical Documentation and Standardization:** Contribute to technical and conceptual documentation of processes, standards, and best practices within the data domain, supporting knowledge organization and solution scalability. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; * Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases (PostgreSQL, Firebird); * Familiarity with programming languages, preferably Python; * Basic understanding of ETL/ELT and concepts related to data processing and transformation; * Familiarity with Git and version control; * Familiarity with data orchestration tools, preferably Apache Airflow; * Familiarity with cloud computing, with focus on AWS; * Introductory knowledge of the medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience in academic or personal projects involving data engineering; * Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization; * Concepts of Data Warehouse and Data Lake; * Experience or interest in technology environments or startups. **Additional Information** **Information:** **Work Location:** Hybrid in Maringá/PR; **Contract Type:** Internship; **Working Hours:** To be determined. **Our benefits are amazing—take a look!** Life Insurance; Birthday Day Off \+ a Flash card credit as a gift to enjoy however you like!
