Job Summary: We are seeking a quality professional to ensure product reliability and continuous improvement, working closely with development teams. Key Highlights: 1. Active collaboration with development teams to resolve quality-related issues We are looking for a professional to join our Quality area, integrated within the Software Engineering – PF Business unit. This role is strategic to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous evolution of our products, working closely with development teams and influencing decisions across the entire software lifecycle. Here, quality is not a final stage—it is embedded into the process from the very beginning. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Define, develop, and implement test strategies to ensure system and application quality * Execute functional, integration, and regression tests, with an emphasis on automation * Perform frontend test automation using JavaScript and Cypress * Develop backend test automation using Java and Rest Assured * Collaborate actively with development teams to identify and resolve quality issues * Create and maintain test documentation, reports, metrics, and quality standards * Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, review, refinement), contributing a quality perspective * Propose continuous improvements to processes, tools, and practices—always focused on maximizing quality throughout development * Proactively prevent defects and enhance team quality maturity **Requirements and Qualifications** * Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance * Backend test automation with Java \+ Rest Assured * Web frontend test automation with Cypress (or Java \+ Selenide) * Experience with GitLab, including version control and CI/CD pipelines * Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle) * Experience with agile methodologies and modern software development practices * Ability to analyze requirements and define test scenarios * Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and collaborative attitude * Proactivity in identifying risks and improvement opportunities * Experience in medium-to-high complexity agile environments * Knowledge of CI/CD processes and automation tools * Experience in financial institutions or credit cooperatives * Familiarity with non-relational databases (MongoDB) * Experience with Jira and Zephyr Scale * Mobile test automation with Appium or Maestro * Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka) * Experience with legacy systems (Clipper) **Additional Information** At **Sicredi**, you will have: 14th and 15th fixed salaries; Profit-sharing program (based on seniority); Health and dental plans with no co-payment; Well-being programs via Wellhub (formerly Gympass), Nutrition, Psychology, Occupational Health, Massage, Running Group, and local gym access; Meal and Food Allowances—with flexible % allocation across VA/VR cards and no co-payment; Extended maternity and paternity leave; Childcare or babysitter allowance for children up to 6 years and 11 months; Allowance for children with disabilities—no age limit; Life insurance; Private pension plan up to 7% of salary; Training platform – Sicredi Aprende, offering diverse courses; 40-hour weekly work schedule using a time banking system; Remote Work Allowance (except for positions requiring 100% in-person work). **Nice to meet you—we are Sicredi.** Our journey began over 120 years ago as Brazil’s first financial cooperative.
