Senior Backend Developer Java/Spring Boot

Job Summary: We are seeking a Java Backend Developer to join an agile team, responsible for developing and maintaining applications, optimizing performance, and collaborating cross-functionally. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams * **Responsibilities and Duties*** Backend application development using Java and Spring Boot; * System maintenance to fix bugs/errors; * Implementation of improvements; * Participation in agile teams; * Development, deployment, and operation of applications within a DevOps culture; * Interaction with business areas/users to deliver high-quality outcomes; * Optimization of applications for high performance, scalability, and availability; * Validation of user-provided data; * Creation of reusable code and libraries; * Ability to work within interdisciplinary teams: collaborate with other team members, engineers, product owners (PO), quality assurance (QA) specialists, designers, scrum masters, and tech leaders to solve proposed challenges; * End-to-end application oversight (from development through production environment); **Requirements and Qualifications*** Proficiency in Java 17 for backend application development; * Maven; * Artifact versioning using Nexus or similar tools; * Proficiency in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, and others; * Proficiency in GIT and GIT Flow; * Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns; * Knowledge of REST/RESTful standards; * Experience with NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB Atlas) and relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle); * Adherence to development best practices (XP, SOLID, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, DDD, TDD, DTO); * Best practices in code reuse; * Experience using Docker; * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean); * Authentication and authorization using JWT; * Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; * Experience with caching (Redis); * Experience in CI/CD pipeline development; * Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes; * Experience developing unit and integration tests using JUnit 5/Mockito. **Here, we are \#SangueLaranja!** We have been in the market for 17 years, working side-by-side with our clients to deliver transformative experiences.
