Be the engineer who transforms product requirements into excellent code, prioritizing performance, quality, and maintainability. Responsibilities: 01 Develop RESTful APIs and backend services for iGaming platform features — betting, payments, account management, games — with focus on performance and reliability. 02 Design and implement scalable backend solutions using microservice patterns, message queues, and event-driven architectures. 03 Write high-quality code — clean, testable, documented, and reviewable — following standards and best practices defined by the Tech Lead. 04 Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) to ensure reliability and enable safe code refactoring. 05 Actively participate in the code review process, providing constructive technical feedback and learning from received reviews. 06 Optimize performance of critical services — API latency, transaction throughput, cache usage — to ensure a smooth player experience. 07 Collaborate with PMs and QA teams in defining technical requirements and acceptance criteria, contributing feasibility insights and effort estimates. 08 Participate in on\-call rotations and production incident response, rapidly diagnosing issues and implementing secure fixes. 09 Integrate AI and automation tools into the development workflow — GitHub Copilot, test generation — to increase productivity without compromising quality. 10 Ensure development security — input validation, authentication, authorization, secret management — following the team’s DevSecOps guidelines. 11 Document APIs, technical decisions, and architectural solutions to ensure knowledge transfer and system maintainability. 12 Proactively contribute to the team’s technical improvement — proposing architectural enhancements, identifying technical debt, and participating in system evolution discussions. **Skills:** Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields Postgraduate / Specializations: Specializations in software architecture, distributed systems, or cloud computing are desirable Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of backend development experience; experience with high-availability APIs, relational and NoSQL databases; experience in fintechs, iGaming, or high-volume platforms is desirable Technical Knowledge: Backend languages (Go, Java, Python, or Node.js), REST APIs, microservices, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB), message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), Docker, Git, automated testing, advanced SQL, AI for development Technical Requirements: - Proficiency in AI and automation — uses GitHub Copilot and AI to accelerate development, test generation, and documentation - Data-driven decision making in real time — uses production logs and metrics to diagnose and resolve issues - Priority and delivery cadence management — delivers user stories predictably and proactively communicates blockers - Building scalable systems and processes — writes modular, testable code prepared for volume growth - User experience analysis — monitors API latency and errors as indicators of player experience - RESTful API development — designs and implements APIs with best practices for versioning, authentication, and documentation - Relational and NoSQL databases — writes optimized queries and designs schemas focused on performance and scalability - Messaging and asynchronous systems — implements reliable producers and consumers using Kafka or RabbitMQ - Automated testing — writes unit and integration tests with appropriate coverage and fast execution - Application security — implements authentication, authorization, and data validation following OWASP guidelines
