Be part of a team that plays together Darede aims to continue revolutionizing cloud businesses in Brazil and become the most relevant consultancy in this segment — after all, **THE FUTURE IS CLOUD!** As Darede’s **Senior Database Administrator**, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing database instances on AWS, including Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and others. If you are curious and eager to learn new tools, platforms, and technologies; if you are data-driven and hands-on; and if you consistently stay updated on the latest trends in Cloud and DevOps, this role is for you! **Apply now — we want to meet you!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Configure, monitor, and optimize database instances on AWS, such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, among others. * Install, configure, and tune databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Monitor database instance performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize performance. * Ensure integrity, security, and reliability of data stored in databases. * Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity and data protection. * Maintain scripts and stored procedures to automate routine tasks and ensure data consistency. * Manage database scalability according to growing demand, using features like auto-scaling and dynamic provisioning. * Collaborate closely with other IT teams to integrate databases into other applications and systems. * Provide technical support and resolve database-related issues to ensure continuous system availability. * Execute procedures and create/update documentation in the knowledge base. * Create new environments, perform migrations, upgrades, and apply patches. **Requirements and Qualifications** **\+ Education:** * Completed or ongoing Bachelor’s degree \+ Mandatory knowledge: * Ability to work effectively in a team and strong interpersonal communication skills. * Basic knowledge of at least two DBMSs (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
