Job Summary: Responsible for managing and executing all accounting and financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance of information for strategic decision-making. Supporting management in economic feasibility and investment analysis Responsible for managing and executing all accounting and financial activities of the company. This role is essential to ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting, tax, and financial information, as well as to provide reliable data to support strategic decision-making. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain and update the company’s accounting records, ensuring accuracy of accounting information, such as revenue, expense, asset, and liability entries. * Monitor bank account reconciliations, ensuring no discrepancies exist between accounting records and bank statements. * Prepare and deliver periodic financial reports—including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and related economic indicators—to senior management and other departments. * Oversee preparation and submission of tax obligations, including tax calculation and payment, as well as timely filing of tax declarations. * Monitor company costs and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and optimization of financial resources. * Coordinate and execute, when necessary, monthly and annual accounting closings, ensuring all tasks are completed within established deadlines. * Conduct internal audits, verifying required information and documents to ensure the company’s accounting and tax compliance. * Manage and depreciate the company’s fixed assets, ensuring proper accounting treatment of assets. * Track changes in accounting policies and updates to tax legislation, ensuring the company complies with current regulations. * Support organizational management by assisting in economic feasibility analysis of projects, budgets, and investments. * Respond to tax audits by gathering documentation and preparing defenses to ensure the company’s regulatory compliance. * Monitor renewal of company certificates. Comply with standards, procedures, or work instructions defined by the company’s Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and/or applicable legislation.
