We look forward to meeting you and jointly driving the next generation of technology solutions. **Come be a Hit!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Administer corporate backup environments, managing, configuring, and maintaining solutions such as Dell EMC (Data Domain and PowerProtect Data Manager – PPDM), Veritas NetBackup, and Cohesity, ensuring alignment of data protection policies with market best practices and business needs across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, among others); * Continuously monitor backup environment performance and health, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, as well as optimizing storage resource usage, deduplication, and data retention to ensure operational efficiency and cost reduction; * Plan, execute, and oversee implementation of new backup and recovery solutions and architectures, including migrations, version upgrades, and environment modernization, in addition to performing preventive and corrective maintenance on existing systems; * Ensure compliance of protected data with information security policies, regulatory requirements, and market best practices, and implement and validate disaster recovery (DR) strategies, immutable backup retention, ransomware protection, and recovery in cloud and hybrid environments; * Provide advanced technical support, investigating and resolving complex issues related to backups, restores, and disaster recovery, leveraging expertise in Dell EMC, NetBackup, Cohesity, PPDM, and cloud platforms to minimize impact and downtime; * Train team members, disseminating best practices and technical knowledge, and create, review, and maintain detailed technical documentation covering architectures, operational procedures, and backup, restore, and disaster recovery policies; * Coordinate integration of backup solutions with other IT systems and platforms, such as virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), databases, enterprise applications, and cloud services, ensuring interoperability, automation, and operational efficiency. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** * Completed undergraduate degree; * Solid senior-level experience administering corporate backup environments, on-premises and/or hybrid, and proficiency in data backup and recovery solutions, including Dell EMC Data Domain, PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), Veritas NetBackup, and Cohesity; * Experience implementing backup, retention, replication, and restore policies, including periodic recovery testing, and working in critical, high-availability environments focused on SLA adherence and minimizing downtime; * Knowledge of incident management and advanced troubleshooting for backup and data recovery, and experience implementing disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies; * Application of information security practices in backup, including ransomware protection, access control, and immutable backups, and experience operating in virtualized environments (e.g., VMware) integrated with backup solutions. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience operating in multi-cloud or hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, or other public clouds, and protecting cloud workloads such as virtual machines, databases, containers, and managed services; * Experience applying modern backup architecture concepts, including cloud backup and cloud disaster recovery (DR), and automating routines via scripts and backup solution APIs; * Technical certifications such as Dell EMC (Data Protection / Data Domain / PPDM), Veritas NetBackup, Cohesity, and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP); * Experience operating in regulated environments, complying with requirements such as LGPD, ISO, and audits; * Experience backing up databases and enterprise applications such as Oracle, SQL Server, SAP, among others; * Performing monitoring and capacity planning in backup and storage environments. **Additional Information** Want to explore all our open positions?
