Job Summary: The research fellow will support the team in applied research and technical-scientific activities, with a focus on embedded systems, communication protocols, and artificial intelligence. Multidisciplinary teamwork and continuous development Qualifications Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Prior involvement with research groups or scientific initiation projects—preferably in embedded systems, communication protocols, or applied artificial intelligence—is desirable. Experience Previous participation in scientific initiation projects, research groups, or academic activities related to digital systems, automation, or data science. Experience in academic writing or co-authoring scientific papers is considered desirable. Knowledge The fellow must possess basic programming skills, preferably in Python or C\+\+, and introductory knowledge of communication protocols in embedded systems and IoT. Familiarity with concepts such as asset digitization, interoperability, and data standardization is desirable. Proficiency in reading scientific articles in English is essential. Requirements / Competencies Applicants must demonstrate interest in conducting applied research, commitment to deadlines, and organizational skills in carrying out assigned tasks. They should be willing to learn new tools, work in multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the technical and scientific activities of the project. Responsibilities The research fellow will support the team in conducting targeted literature reviews on communication protocols and digital twins; performing preliminary technical requirements analysis; assisting in structuring digital models for asset representation; writing basic scripts in Python or C\+\+; and drafting technical documents and interim research reports.
