Are you ready to join us? **Responsibilities and Duties** **What are we looking for?** A professional with an eye for improvement and value delivery. **Your day-to-day will include:** * Taking a holistic view of the project and supporting the team in breaking down tasks and understanding them, aiming for improved delivery efficiency; * Ensuring the solution being built meets customer needs and incorporates best practices; * Monitoring project roll-outs and supporting the team in identifying and resolving issues; in critical cases, leading the team; * Mentoring on testing practices, tools, and concepts, and supporting the team in test refactoring; * Identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities or generating documentation mapping the identified scenario; * Understanding architecture models and practices, and when necessary, supporting the architecture team in validating solution designs and translating architectures into development solutions; * Attending team ceremonies to identify impediments or problems and supporting the creation of action plans; * Understanding the metrics used by the team, analyzing them, suggesting improvements, and using them for planning and alignment purposes; * Documenting and demonstrating solutions, producing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, graphs, and clear code. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Senior Developer** with experience in **Java, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture**, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust APIs, ensure application security, and optimize system performance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Database design and development; * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 11\+ and Spring Boot; * Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservice architectures; * Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and product teams to ensure efficient deliveries; * Implement database solutions (SQL/NoSQL) and optimize queries for high-volume processing; * Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and security; * Monitor application performance and resolve production issues; * Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural design. **Required Skills:** * Strong proficiency in **Java 8/11\+**, **Spring Boot**, **Spring Data JPA**, and **Spring Security**. * Experience with microservices, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Solid knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. * Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito). * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). * Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. * Advanced/Fluent English. **Additional Information:** * CLT employment contract * Flexible working hours (06:00–15:00) * Remote position **(but candidates must reside in Curitiba/PR or be willing to relocate)**. **NOTE:** Hey!
