We have an opportunity for a Facilities Specialist position in Itagibá/BA, dedicated to the *Underground Project:* Appian’s largest global project! This is a milestone for the company, requiring highly qualified professionals to ensure management of highly complex and critical contracts—including accommodations, catering, personnel mobilization, light fleet, uniforms, and infrastructure expansion—contributing to operational optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement. *Atlantic Nickel is committed to fostering a more diverse and inclusive workplace. Candidate information collected during the selection process for open positions is rigorously handled in accordance with the LGPD – General Data Protection Law.* **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead technical management of facilities operations, ensuring full functionality of infrastructure, utilities, and business-support services; * Manage contracts for catering/cafeteria, accommodations, transit houses, flats, uniforms, and light transportation; * Coordinate accommodation contracts for approximately 1\.000 people, including area mapping, monitoring third-party construction works, and compliance with applicable regulations; * Manage high-criticality and financially significant contracts, conducting negotiations, contractual reviews, performance analysis (SLAs/KPIs), and improvement plans; * Develop, control, and monitor the department’s budget (CAPEX and OPEX), ensuring financial predictability, cost efficiency, and alignment with strategic planning; * Develop and implement infrastructure projects, retrofitting, expansion, energy efficiency, and operational optimization; * Manage operational and regulatory risks, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, technical standards, and internal policies; * Lead strategic procurement processes, including defining technical scopes, performing technical and financial analyses of proposals, and supporting decision-making; * Serve as a technical and advisory reference for leadership and client areas, contributing to strategic decisions related to infrastructure and services; * Coordinate audits, inspections, and action plans related to safety, building maintenance, and operational compliance; * Promote process standardization, innovation, and adoption of industry best practices in facilities management; * Fully manage support and facilities contracts for Underground Mine operations; * Manage the contracting and oversight of third-party companies responsible for accommodation infrastructure implementation and operation; * Coordinate infrastructure expansion contracts, including offices, corporate layouts, and operational adaptations; * Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs) related to personnel mobilization, accommodations, and support infrastructure; * Control light vehicles assigned to personnel transportation and internal logistics; * Collaborate with executive leadership, advocating technical, operational, and financial analyses related to contracts and departmental operations; * Provide indirect technical support for personnel mobilization and uniform management processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Postgraduate specialization in Contract Management, Project Management, or related areas is desirable; * Extensive experience in strategic facilities and building infrastructure management; * Experience managing large-scale, high-financial-criticality contracts; * Knowledge of accommodation and personnel mobilization management in high-volume operations; * Familiarity with applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs) for accommodations, transportation, and operational infrastructure; * Experience managing contracts for catering, transportation, uniforms, and operational support; * Experience in infrastructure expansion, corporate layouts, and operational adaptations; * Strong analytical capability for financial management and critical contract analysis; * Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and operational audits; * Ability to negotiate with suppliers and interface with senior leadership; * Experience managing performance indicators (KPIs and SLAs); * Advanced English is desirable; * Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency; * ERP systems experience. **Additional Information** Residency in Itagibá/BA is mandatory for work at the Santa Rita Mine.
