**What are we looking for?** **Main responsibilities:** Define best development practices; Program, code, and test systems in the language, moving between Front-End and Back-End development projects; Implement complex functionalities; Propose technological enhancements to systems. Monitor adherence to software development best practices. Validate the existing test coverage in projects; Validate new application features; Monitor application system performance; Propose technological enhancements to systems; Anticipate opportunities and problems with agility, speed, and effectiveness, developing preventive solutions; Support junior developers and contribute to project decision-making; Perform system maintenance, implementing necessary changes to meet user requirements; Carry out program assembly, debugging, and testing tasks, performing maintenance services on already-developed programs. **Requirements:** * Solid backend development experience using Java (preferably Java 8 or later). * Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs. * Knowledge of system integration via APIs. * Experience with relational databases and data modeling. * Proficiency in SQL and query optimization. * Experience implementing business logic in backend applications. * Knowledge of application security practices, authentication, authorization, and protection against vulnerabilities. * Experience with unit and integration testing. * Experience identifying and fixing bugs (debugging) and optimizing performance. * Knowledge of scalable, highly available application architecture. * Experience with Git for source code version control. **Nice-to-have:** Regulatory products, banking products, merchant acquiring, and related domains.
