Interested in a career that delivers greater returns? **Check out this opportunity and \#JoinPagBank!** **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop, maintain, and evolve data engineering solutions, ensuring data quality, availability, and performance. * Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes. * Develop and maintain routines using SQL and programming languages applied in data contexts. * Participate in data modeling and implement best development practices. * Use code versioning tools to manage and control changes in collaborative environments. * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery processes. * Work with AWS services—especially Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3—to support building and maintaining data solutions. * Participate in technical discussions, requirements analysis, and defining solutions aligned with business needs. * Monitor and continuously improve the performance and reliability of data environments. **Requirements and qualifications** * Experience in software development and programming logic. * Familiarity with core Linux commands and environments. * Experience with Git and GitHub—including code versioning, push, pull, commit, branch, merge, checkout, and conflict resolution. * Intermediate SQL knowledge, with experience in data modeling, stored procedure development, and query optimization. * Experience with AWS—especially Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3\. * Experience creating and maintaining pipelines using Jenkins. * Knowledge of best practices in development, versioning, and continuous integration. * Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. **Preferred qualifications** * Advanced SQL knowledge—particularly in Amazon Redshift. * Experience with Redshift architecture—including distribution and sort strategies, WLM (Workload Management), and platform-specific features. * Advanced AWS knowledge—with experience designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and secure architectures. * Experience working with large-scale, high-availability data environments. * Experience optimizing query and data process performance. * Familiarity with DataOps practices and automation of data environments. **Additional information** **Our work model is:** * Hybrid (1 day per week onsite at Faria Lima for those residing in São Paulo). * Fully remote for professionals living more than 90 km from the office.
