* Sorocaba, SP, BR (1 Opening) * On-site New opening — be one of the first **Job Description and Responsibilities** --------------------------------- **Working Hours:** Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM **Experience Level:** Professional **Employment Type:** Full-time — CLT We are seeking an Engineer to implement and develop the Production Planning and Control (PCP) department, working directly on the shop floor, monitoring productivity, processes, and real-time production performance. The professional will be responsible for structuring the PCP department, creating controls and KPIs, tracking production orders, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting management in continuous improvement of production processes. Responsibilities Monitor daily production on the shop floor; Control team productivity, data entry, and performance; Implement and structure PCP processes; Develop production KPIs (efficiency, losses, downtime, yield, etc.); Monitor adherence to production deadlines and targets; Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements; Issue and track production orders; Serve as liaison between production, inventory, and administration; Standardize production processes; Prepare management reports and performance analyses; Support production leadership in strategic decision-making. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; Experience with PCP and production control; Hands-on experience in industrial environments / shop floor; Knowledge of productivity, production processes, and continuous improvement; Advanced Excel proficiency; Analytical, organized, and proactive profile; Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in establishing a PCP department; Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing; Experience with industrial ERP systems; Familiarity with industrial KPIs and performance management; Knowledge or experience in plastic, cardboard, or metal sectors will be considered a plus.
