Expand knowledge of operational procedures **Job Purpose and Impact** -------------------------- Generalist Process Operator II will perform a variety of responsibilities within designated production facility areas, including operating mechanical machinery and equipment, performing maintenance and troubleshooting, using broad and multidimensional process understanding. In this role, you will be assigned to different work areas as needed to ensure production targets are met, support high-quality product output, and maximize yield, while adhering to all safety policies and regulations. **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * Operate equipment and technological tools in designated production facility areas, filling prior areas as required, and apply broad understanding of policies and procedures with regular guidance to execute necessary tasks. * Perform various responsibilities in identified areas, which may include bulk material loading/unloading, packaging, terminal operations, blending, monitoring computerized control systems, and making adjustments during machine processing. * Expand knowledge of operational procedures, receive input from colleagues, and provide feedback on clarity and effectiveness of instructions, including procedure documentation. * Perform maintenance and troubleshoot machines and equipment, making adjustments as needed. * Record production and inventory activities in computerized systems. * Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, front-end loader, ride-on floor sweeper, front-end loader). * Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean workplace, and manage the pace and progress of work on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of interconnections with other process areas. * Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** ------------------ ### **Minimum** * High school diploma or equivalent; ### **Preferred** * Experience in grain drying and storage * Technical course in related fields * Driver's license category B * Microsoft Office suite; At Cargill, every person matters.
