Description

In this position, responsibilities include customer service, order preparation, preparation of fillings, dough, pastries, and appetizers, inventory organization, cleaning of machinery and equipment, as well as overall cleaning and maintenance of the workplace. Working hours are set by the company and may begin before store opening and/or end after store closing, depending on company needs. The weekly workload is 44 hours with one day off per week, always on Sundays. The company may require up to two hours of overtime per day, in accordance with the Consolidated Labor Laws (CLT). As this is a retail position, working on certain holidays may be required. By accepting this position, the candidate acknowledges and agrees to work on holidays designated by the company. Holiday hours are paid at 100% overtime rate. Punctuality is highly valued; arriving on time is critical to avoid delaying production and overburdening coworkers. Politeness and respect toward coworkers, customers, and suppliers are essential; any form of disrespect is strictly prohibited. Regarding attire: because this is a food-handling business, wearing any type of perfume is prohibited; earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, rings, or any other jewelry are also prohibited. Employees must wear the uniform provided by the company and closed-toe shoes. Wearing sandals or any open-toed or semi-open footwear is prohibited.
