Our focus is to scale—swiftly, securely, resiliently, and with quality—the value generation for stores and franchises through technology. Our Squads are tasked with maintaining the Customer Service and POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring our end customers enjoy the best multi-channel purchasing experience and our franchisees have full control over their sales and inventory.
**What will your day-to-day look like?**
We seek a Flutter Developer Specialist II with a strong software engineering background to assume technical leadership of our journey. We expect a proactive, autonomous profile capable of raising the team’s technical bar, navigating a multidisciplinary ecosystem, and guaranteeing both technical excellence and seamless integration across different Squads.
On a daily basis, you’ll operate across four major pillars:
**Technical Leadership, Influence, and Strategic Partnership**
* **Leadership and Inspiration:** Serve as a technical reference, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance environment.
* **Strategic Partnership:** Work in synergy with the *Tech Manager* (TM) on priority management, balancing technical debt, and executing the technical breakdown of strategic planning.
* **Cross-functional Vision:** Collaborate with leaders from other areas to ensure platform consistency and efficient technology integration.
* **Operational Efficiency & Autonomy:** Monitor the development lifecycle, propose continuous improvements, make complex technical decisions, and foster decision-making autonomy within the team.
* **Documentation Culture:** Lead and influence the creation and updating of technical documentation, ensuring knowledge longevity.
**Culture, Mentoring, and Collaboration**
* **People Development:** Mentor developers and support the TM in building and evaluating Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
* **Hands-on Upskilling:** Disseminate knowledge about technologies and frameworks through hands-on sessions, pair programming, and technical forums.
* **Internal Networking:** Build and nurture relationships with teams across other tribes to promote exchange of best practices.
**Architecture and Systemic Vision**
* **Technical Orchestration:** Lead the creation of ADRs (*Architecture Decision Records*), drive refinement sessions, and orchestrate high-level technical discussions.
* **Solution Design:** Design and review architectures focused on performance, scalability, and cost optimization—always balancing optimal business ROI.
* **Resilience Assurance:** Ensure architectural definitions meet business requirements, safeguarding resilience and preventing negative impacts on other domains.
**Engineering, Quality, and Incident Management**
* **Process Evolution:** Continuously monitor and improve technical workflows, establishing high standards for code reviews, branching strategies, and code versioning.
* **Service Health:** Monitor alerts, dashboards, and delivered code quality, proactively identifying critical points and technical debt requiring strategic refactoring.
* **Crisis Management & Continuous Improvement:** Exercise autonomy to lead *War Rooms* for resolving critical operational issues and guide the creation of *Postmortems* with preventive and corrective actions.
**Requirements and qualifications** **What do you need to have or know?**
* **Flutter Proficiency:** Solid hands-on experience developing with Flutter (state management, navigation, architecture, and API consumption).
* **Mobile Development:** Deep understanding of the mobile application lifecycle and UX/UI best practices oriented toward performance and optimization.
* **Backend Integration:** Advanced proficiency consuming REST APIs, implementing error-handling strategies, authentication flows, and efficient asynchronous data management.
* **Software Quality:** Advanced knowledge of automated testing (unit and widget tests) and resilient architectures.
* **Tooling and Version Control:** Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (Gitflow, Trunk-based, etc.).
* **Agile Methodologies:** Practical experience in teams using agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
* **Communication and Analytical Ability:** Excellent skill in translating, discussing, and bridging demands between business/product teams and the technical specialist team.
**Nice-to-have qualifications:**
* **Multidisciplinary Collaboration (End-to-end vision):** Ability to act as a strategic partner in backend architecture discussions, participate in refinement sessions, and contribute an engineering perspective—even outside the Flutter ecosystem.
* Prior experience with **Customer Service, Sales, POS (Point of Sale), or retail/franchise-focused solutions**.
* Experience with **Micro-frontends** architectures or shared Flutter packages/components.
