Do you have a passion for customs matters, experience with customs bonded warehouses, and familiarity with systems such as IDMS, AES, NCTS P5, and customs systems?
Then you are the Customs Declarant we are looking for in our Customs department in Belgium!
**About the Role**
As a Customs Declarant, you are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customs declarations for goods flows both within and outside the EU. You ensure compliance with administrative and legal obligations and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customs department.

**Your Responsibilities**
* Preparing and submitting import and export declarations, certificates, and transit documents (NCTS).
* Processing and monitoring bonded warehouse movements and bonded warehousing.
* Managing declarations and stock administration via our customs system.
* Reviewing and processing documents such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and HS codes.
* Ensuring correct application of permits and customs legislation.
* Collaborating with customs authorities during inspections, audits, and controls.
* Monitoring and resolving claims, customs controls, and discrepancies.
* Advising internal departments on customs procedures and optimizations.
* Contributing to continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

* Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
* Strong command of Dutch and English.
