To strengthen this mission, Syngenta’s Barter team is seeking a **Barter Coordinator** to be based in **Londrina/PR**. In this role, you will serve customers including **Cooperatives, Distribution Channels, and Direct Access clients**, with a focus on commodity market analysis, planning and execution of Barter campaigns, client and contract portfolio management, input negotiation and financing, performance tracking and risk mitigation, ensuring documentary compliance and internal cross-functional integration. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure timely updates on commodity market scenarios, trends, and intelligence for dissemination to commercial teams. * Monitor freight markets across customer and Barter partner operating regions. * Assess performance and negotiate new orders jointly with the commercial team. * Design Barter campaigns to generate demand through exchange ratios, addressing challenges related to receivables risk mitigation. * Maintain strong relationships with Barter customers and partners through formalization of soybean and corn contracts. * Conduct market analysis to identify competitors’ operational structures, manage client and order portfolios, study and analyze operating regions, and assess optimal and potential input-for-commodity exchange opportunities. * Analyze each client portfolio’s profile across operating regions to define access/engagement strategies with the commercial team. * Conduct weekly monitoring of grain contract collections and performance with partners and trading desks to control wash\-out risk, payment delays, or default risks. * Ensure compliance with Barter’s triangular documentation: CPR (Rural Product Receipt), grain sales contract, and credit assignment agreements with customers and partners, as well as completion of notarial registrations. * Demonstrate strong cross-functional interaction capabilities among Commercial, Credit & Risk, Legal, and Syngenta’s internal trading teams within company internal processes. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Agronomy, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. * Willingness to reside in the assigned location: **Londrina/PR**. * Experience in Barter activities (familiarity with commodity markets, especially pricing, origination, and credit—negotiation and back-office operations). * Experience in soybean and corn Barter. * Ability to build strong customer relationships and excellent negotiation skills. * Willingness to travel. **Preferred:** * Experience serving Direct Access clients. * English proficiency. **Additional Information** **What We Offer** * A culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion, promotes professional development, and seeks a healthy balance between professional and personal life to support team members.
