### **About the position:** #### **What do we expect from you?** * Be the Guardian of the company's data, ensuring its scalability, quality, and availability for users. #### **Responsibilities:** * Create generalizations of databases for business contexts; * Optimize data queries; * Handle large quantities of data, structured and unstructured; * Identify inconsistencies in databases and their compositions; * Stay up to date with new techniques and market tools; * Model entities with the intent of optimizing the consumption and performance of information; * Propose solutions that facilitate data manipulation and solve undefined problems, managing their execution with autonomy; * Apply end-to-end data ingestion pipelines; * Map and document business processes that require a solution in data engineering, machine learning and/or data modeling for analyses. #### **Experiences and competencies:** * **Mandatory prerequisites**: + Adequate data modeling for a business context (3NF, Star, SnowFlake, Events); + Data consumption languages (SQL); + Programming language (Python); + Data scheduling and transformation tool (Airflow); + Use of Data Infrastructure tools (AWS S3 and Athena); + Knowledge of data versioning tools (git and dbt); + Knowledge of Software operations (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, test driven development); + Knowledge in development with AIs; * **Desirable prerequisites:** * + Financial knowledge (treasury and controller concepts); + Degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Mathematics or related exact science courses; + Experience in startup environments. #### **Pier Remuneration and benefits** * Health and dental plan; * Flexible benefit (Caju); * Pier Premium Plan Smartphone Insurance (if covered); * Total Pass; * Starbem: 5 consultations/month (therapy consultations, 1 nutrition and 2 other specialties) paid by Pier; * Extended Maternity/Paternity leave; * Childcare assistance.
