Job Summary: A professional responsible for monitoring routes, managing transportation teams, resolving operational issues, and analyzing KPIs to optimize logistics processes. Key Highlights: 1. KPI analysis for continuous process improvement Route Monitoring: Monitor real-time transportation route performance to ensure vehicles adhere to scheduled times, avoid deviations or delays, and guarantee operational efficiency. Transportation Team Management: Coordinate driver allocation and movement, optimizing routes to ensure delivery efficiency and safety while complying with company procedures and regulations. Traceability Control: Use monitoring systems (e.g., TOA or similar systems) to track vehicle locations, ensuring full visibility of logistics operations and facilitating rapid decision-making. Operational Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve issues occurring during transportation—such as communication failures, route deviations, vehicle incidents, or traffic congestion—to minimize impacts on deliveries and operations. Operational Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily and weekly reports on route performance, travel times, operational costs, and incidents, providing valuable insights to the logistics and transportation department. Supplier and Carrier Interaction: Maintain consistent communication with suppliers, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure all operations are executed according to the established plan. Documentation Control: Verify and organize driver, vehicle, and delivery documentation to ensure all information is accurate and compliant with company policies and regulations. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators—including on-time delivery rates, route efficiency, and operational costs—with a focus on continuously improving logistics processes. Logistics and Planning Support: Assist the logistics team in route planning and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
