Job Summary: The Transportation Supervisor leads the team and optimizes operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality deliveries, managing freight costs and monitoring key performance indicators. Therefore, we are seeking a **Transportation Supervisor** to lead and develop the transportation team, ensuring deliveries that are **on time, safe, high-quality, and efficient**. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise transportation operations, ensuring on-time deliveries and adherence to established quality standards; * Lead fleet leader teams, assistants, and drivers, promoting alignment, operational discipline, and professional development; * Plan and optimize routes and resources to improve productivity and reduce costs; * **Manage freight costs** (control, analysis, and negotiation), monitoring carrier rate tables, contractual terms, and performance; * Monitor KPIs (SLA, cost, damages, productivity, incidents) and propose improvements; * Ensure compliance with transportation safety regulations and best practices, proactively preventing and addressing incidents. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in transportation management and/or route planning; * Experience leading operational teams; * Familiarity with freight cost management and carrier negotiations; * Knowledge of logistics KPIs and operational/monitoring routines.
