




Job Summary: Responsible for the safe driving of ambulances and transportation of patients, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and hospital safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Completion of reports and vehicle safety checklists. **Requirements:** * Completed High School education; * Certification in driving emergency vehicles; * Completed Emergency Transportation course; * Knowledge of the road network in São Paulo and Campinas; * Valid Brazilian National Driver's License, Category D (CNH); **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for driving ambulances to transport hospitalized patients from HCSV to clinics located in Jundiaí municipality and/or neighboring cities for examinations. * Board patients and nursing staff, and conduct transportation according to instructions specified in the patient transfer request. * Seat passengers safely in the vehicle, assisting persons with disabilities, pregnant women, elderly individuals, and children during boarding and alighting, ensuring their safety. * Transport patients between HCSVP units as needed and per requests received from requesting clinics. * Complete daily reports documenting all trips performed, to generate sector performance indicators. * Perform vehicle pre-trip checklist covering: dashboard instrument readings, stretchers and seat belts, lighting components, rearview mirrors, tires, brakes, lights, engine coolant and oil levels, etc., to ensure immediate operational readiness. * Record any identified issues in the incident logbook and checklist spreadsheet to inform area management and initiate vehicle maintenance procedures. * Operate the vehicle in accordance with current traffic laws and safety standards, aiming to meet scheduled times and destinations. * Take appropriate actions in case of emergencies or accidents. * Properly use the vehicle’s signaling system. * Assist in replacing oxygen cylinders, which are part of the mandatory equipment onboard. * Comply with occupational health and safety rules and procedures while performing duties, using the required personal protective equipment (PPE). * Comply with hospital infection control protocols and procedures. * Perform other related or inherent duties associated with this position, or as directed by supervisors. * Maintain organization, preservation, upkeep, and cleanliness of equipment, workplace, instruments, and materials used.
