Description

The first thing you need to know is that here, you won’t fall into routine. Radix develops solutions for companies across various sectors and industries. Each project has its own technologies, solutions, and deadlines, giving you the opportunity to work on and experience diverse challenges. In addition to our presence across Brazil—with offices in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Belo Horizonte—we also have subsidiaries in the United States, further solidifying Radix as a **global** company. Do you want to be part of this story and turn ideas and dreams into reality? **About the Role** ---------------- We are seeking a highly qualified Data Engineering Specialist with strong experience in Data Quality to design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions that ensure reliable, accurate, and consistent data across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, implementing data quality frameworks, establishing governance standards, and ensuring data integrity throughout its entire lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in SQL, enterprise data engineering, API-based integrations, and modern data quality practices—with a strong focus on validation, monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and business intelligence (BI) initiatives. * Design and implement comprehensive data quality frameworks across data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers. * Develop and maintain automated data quality rules, validations, and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, uniqueness, timeliness, and integrity. * Define, implement, and monitor data quality metrics, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards. * Develop automated validation processes for structured and semi-structured data—including JSON data from REST APIs and SaaS platforms. * Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define data quality requirements and acceptance criteria. * Design and maintain canonical data models (platform-agnostic) that consolidate information from multiple source systems. * Create and maintain source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and data harmonization processes. * Design dimensional models—including star schemas—to support analytical and reporting workloads. * Implement incremental loading strategies, Change Data Capture (CDC), reconciliation processes, and end-to-end data validation. * Investigate, diagnose, and resolve data quality issues—identifying root causes and implementing preventive solutions. * Ensure compliance with corporate data governance standards, metadata management, data lineage, and role-based security practices. * Optimize SQL queries, transformation logic, and validation processes for performance and scalability. * Collaborate with data architects, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions. * Support Git-based version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices for data engineering solutions. **Required Qualifications** ------------------------------ * Advanced English proficiency for conversation. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). * Extensive experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. * Solid experience implementing data quality frameworks, methodologies, and best practices in enterprise environments. * Advanced knowledge of SQL—including complex queries, transformations, optimization, and performance tuning. * Experience developing and implementing data quality rules, validation frameworks, reconciliation processes, and exception handling. * Strong understanding of data profiling techniques, data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and data matching. * Experience designing and implementing Raw/Bronze, Curated/Silver, and Business/Gold data layers. * Practical experience integrating and validating JSON data from REST APIs and SaaS platforms. * Solid knowledge of relational database modeling, normalization, and data integrity principles. * Experience developing automated data validation processes, stored procedures, views, user-defined functions (UDFs), or equivalent database objects. * Experience designing platform-agnostic canonical data models consolidating information from multiple source systems. * Experience with source-to-target data mapping, transformations, and data harmonization. * Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling (star schemas) and enterprise data warehouse concepts. * Experience implementing incremental loads, CDC, reconciliation processes, and automated data quality validations. * Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, data lineage, master/reference data concepts, and role-based security. * Proficiency with database development tools, Git version control, and CI/CD practices. **Nice-to-Have:** * Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or disciplines requiring high analytical capability. **Benefits:** * Nationwide health insurance (for employee and dependents, including private room) * Nationwide dental insurance (for employee and dependents) * Flexible
