**About the Position** ---------------- We are seeking an **SAP Back-end Developer** to work on the development, maintenance, and evolution of solutions within SAP environments. The professional will be responsible for developing applications, data models, and integrations using **ABAP**, as well as technically leading high-complexity projects. In addition to back-end development, the professional may also participate in projects involving SAP ecosystem front-end technologies such as **SAPUI5**, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Collaborate with functional consultants and business areas to gather, analyze, and understand requirements. * Develop back-end solutions on SAP platforms, primarily using **ABAP**. * Engage in the development and maintenance of SAP applications, ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to best practices. * Participate, when required, in projects involving front-end development with **SAPUI5**. * Manage the development lifecycle, including versioning, transport, and deployment of SAP objects across environments. * Conduct technical code reviews and ensure delivery quality. * Serve as a technical reference in high-complexity projects. * Guide and support junior and mid-level professionals, promoting knowledge sharing. * Collaborate in defining technical solutions aligned with business needs. **Scope of Work** --------------------- ### **SAP Configuration and Transport** * Implement configurations and developments using SAP’s transport framework. * Manage object movement between Development, Quality, and Production environments. * Ensure correct solution deployment following organizational governance processes. ### **Testing and Quality Assurance** * Design and execute technical and functional test cases. * Document test evidence and results. * Collaborate with functional and technical teams to analyze and resolve incidents. * Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes. ### **Go-Live Support** * Participate in production-readiness activities. * Support simulations, full-scale rehearsals (Dress Rehearsal), and go-live plans. * Identify risks and improvement opportunities during the transition to production. ### **Application Support** * Investigate and resolve incidents related to SAP applications. * Provide support for Equipment Strategy solutions, including **SAP APM** and **Asset Intelligence (AsInt)**, as needed. * Work on root cause identification and implementation of permanent solutions. **Mandatory Requirements** --------------------------- ### **Technical Knowledge** * Solid experience in **SAP ABAP** development. * Experience in back-end application development within the SAP ecosystem. * Knowledge of SAP architecture and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). * Experience with SAP transport management (CTS). * Familiarity with SAP data models and Object-Oriented Programming (ABAP OO). * Hands-on experience in analysis, development, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions. * Knowledge of ABAP program debugging (Debug) and performance analysis. * Experience integrating SAP modules. **Preferred Qualifications** ------------------------ * Knowledge of **SAPUI5** and SAP front-end development. * Experience with **SAP Fiori**. * Familiarity with **SAP BTP**. * Experience with **SAP APM (Asset Performance Management)**. * Knowledge of **Asset Intelligence (AsInt)**. * Experience in SAP implementation projects and AMS support. * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe). **Behavioral Competencies** -------------------------------- * Technical leadership and ability to guide teams. * Analytical mindset and focus on problem resolution. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. * Proactivity and ownership mindset. * Organizational skills and commitment to quality and deadlines. * Ability to share knowledge and serve as a technical mentor.
