We are seeking a Data Specialist to join the dedicated finance team of a major corporation. This professional will independently analyze business requirements and deliver robust solutions for a critical data project, focusing on monthly financial closings and taking technical ownership of decisions within the Azure environment. Responsibilities and Duties * Proactively analyze technical and business requirements without constant direction from technology management. * Design, develop, and operate data pipelines using Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, and SQL. * Automate and orchestrate ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes for financial, accounting, and actuarial data. * Collaborate directly with the finance team to understand their needs and translate them into efficient technical solutions. * Ensure consistent delivery throughout the financial closing cycle, including weekend support availability (1–2 times per month). Requirements and Qualifications * Solid hands-on experience with Azure, Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, SQL, SAS, and Python — all mandatory. * Demonstrated ability to self-manage and take initiative to drive end-to-end solutions, from requirement understanding through final execution. 2512100202181683958
