We are seeking a ***Accounting Consultant I*** to join the Votorantim Center of Excellence team in the area of ***General Accounting – Financial Information of Votorantim S.A.***. Within this area, we handle the accounting closing process, accounting reconciliations, preparation of management reports, preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements, and other related activities. The challenges for this person will lie in the *Accounting* domain, including: reconciliation of related parties, documentation of internal controls, development and monitoring of investment movements, preparation of complex explanatory notes such as DMPL, DRA, and Investments (composition and movements), support for internal and external audits, maintenance and configuration of the accounting consolidation system, oversight of corporate operations of the Group, preparation of the book containing explanations of results, and drafting of technical accounting memoranda to support new operations. It is important that you have knowledge of: Accounting standards—CPCs and IFRS; corporate legislation (Consolidated Law No. 6,404/76 and the Civil Code); internal controls (SOX and SSAE18); intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and familiarity with integrated systems (experience with SAP is a plus). Our offices are located in São Paulo and Curitiba, Brazil, and in Lima, Peru. We provide services to Votorantim’s invested companies. Our structure comprises Shared Services Centers delivering Finance, Accounting and Tax, Human Resources, Real Estate Solutions, and Information Technology services.
