Job Summary: We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst I to support laboratory activities related to food safety, ensuring adherence to GLP and reliability of results. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a passionate Laboratory Analyst I with enthusiasm for science, quality, and innovation to support laboratory activities related to food safety. This position will be responsible for performing analyses, supporting validation and performance studies, preparing laboratory materials and supplies, receiving and tracking samples, and contributing to technical knowledge generation regarding Neogen’s products and solutions. The professional will collaborate with technical, commercial, and quality teams, participating in testing, research, training, and product evaluations, ensuring adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and result reliability. This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in analytical technologies, diagnostic methods, and solutions aimed at protecting the food supply chain. Requirements Minimum Qualification Food Engineering, Biology, Microbiology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. Preferred Qualification Postgraduate degree or Master’s degree in related fields. Experience Experience in laboratory activities. Desired Knowledge Good Laboratory Practices (GLP); Laboratory routines and equipment; Microbiological testing and/or rapid diagnostic methods; Preparation of technical reports; Food quality and safety; Laboratory management systems and software. Advantages Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, HACCP, environmental monitoring, and method validation; Familiarity with certifications such as AOAC and AFNOR; Knowledge of food industry legislation.
