Quality Technician I

Description

* Maintain and keep the department clean and organized by cleaning machines and the workplace, as well as organizing tools for use; * Ensure the quality of incoming materials by analyzing raw materials through collected samples, rejecting non-conforming materials when necessary, using Brazilian standards – Acceptable Quality Level (AQL), evaluating color, dimensions, and visual appearance; * Contribute to product quality by preparing reports and technical assessments regarding finished products, raw materials, or products under development based on test results; * Assist in returning rejected supplier materials, attending to the supplier and reporting identified non-conformities, including deviation samples and descriptions thereof; * Contribute to process and product improvement opportunities through the company's incentive channels and programs; * Conduct evaluations at defined intervals to ensure strict control of equipment, aiming to prevent equipment from becoming uncalibrated, inadequately identified, or improperly moved between departments. * Contribute to compliance with Quality, Environment, Health and Safety at Work, Social Responsibility, Forest Management, and Food Safety Management System (FSSC 22000) requirements by understanding and being aware of the objectives and targets of the Integrated Management Policy – SGI/SGSA, work procedures, significant environmental aspects and impacts, and occupational health and safety hazards and risks related to their activities, including emergency situations, as well as the consequences of non-compliance.
