**Job Objective:**
Support Process and Quality Control activities by collecting field samples (UPC and Forest), performing operational measurements of wood and charcoal, transporting samples for external analysis, and supporting monitoring of production process compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collect wood and charcoal samples in the field according to Process and Quality Control procedures;
* Ensure proper packaging, identification and traceability of collected samples;
* Transport samples to laboratories or external departments, ensuring sample integrity and adherence to deadlines;
* Perform wood and charcoal control and measurement activities according to established methods and standards;
* Accurately complete field worksheets, forms and records;
* Support monitoring of process parameters, identifying deviations and reporting them to leadership and the Quality team;
* Follow operational procedures, OPD instructions and leadership directives during the shift;
* Conduct field rounds, observing operational conditions, safety requirements and compliance;
* Ensure workplace organization, cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, equipment and tools used;
* Support autonomous maintenance activities, when applicable;
* Act in accordance with principles of operational discipline, safety and quality;
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to the process;
* **Serve as backup in the carbonization area of furnaces and/or gas burners.**
**Technical Requirements:**
* Completed high school education; technical training in Processes, Quality, Forestry, Industrial, Production, Chemistry or related fields is considered an advantage;
* Junior profile, with initial experience or targeted education in process or quality control;
* Basic knowledge of process control and quality analysis;
* Ability to read and apply operational procedures and quality standards;
* Basic understanding of carbonization processes, wood, charcoal and plant products;
* Familiarity with field maneuvers and safe operation in industrial and forest environments;
* Basic knowledge of autonomous maintenance;
* Ability to identify and report deviations (basic troubleshooting);
* Valid driver’s license category **AB**, with availability to travel within operational areas, forests and for sample transportation;
* Availability to work in the field (UPC and Forest);
* Compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements;
* Fire brigade training is considered an advantage.
