If you believe in a world where everyone has the opportunity to drive their own lives, come be \#Kover! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure that Brazil operations comply with all occupational safety and health regulations (NRs) as well as applicable environmental legislation in each location/operation; * Ensure validity and maintenance of licenses and documentation required for compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental (EHS) regulations and legal requirements, including fulfillment of all related conditions and obligations; * Serve as guardian and developer of the company’s safety culture; * Systematically collect information from multiple sources, such as public databases, media, social networks, and specialized sources; * Develop and implement workplace health and safety plans in accordance with legal guidelines; * Draft and implement policies to establish a culture of health and safety; * Assess regulatory updates, practices, procedures, and facilities to measure risks and legal compliance; * Conduct training sessions and presentations on health and safety topics and accident prevention; * Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting personnel and operations; * Inspect equipment and machinery to identify potentially unsafe conditions; * Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and process workers’ compensation claims; * Recommend solutions to problems, opportunities for improvement, or new preventive measures; * Ensure incident logging, KPI monitoring, and reporting on awareness, issues, and health and safety statistics; * Manage teams and technical reports required to perform functions at workplaces; * Play a strategic role in developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs; * Lead internal and third-party safety technician teams; collaborate with various departments; and foster an organizational culture focused on employee safety, environmental stewardship, and employee health; * Manage outpatient partners for occupational health routines; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety Engineering or related field, preferably complemented by education/experience in Environmental Management; * Experience in occupational safety within the automotive sector; * In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety legal guidelines; * Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies; * Solid knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment; * Excellent organizational and leadership skills; * Exceptional attention to detail and observational ability; * Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; * Valid occupational health and safety certification; * Familiarity with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 27001 / 31000 / 45001 is desirable; * Familiarity with IMS (Integrated Management System) is desirable; * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency is desirable; **Additional Information** **What You’ll Find Here:** **Birthday Day Off:** On your special day, you get a paid day off to celebrate however you like. **Life Insurance:** To protect our greatest asset: our Kovers. **Health Plan:** Taking care of yourself and staying healthy matters. **Dental Plan:** So you can flash that beautiful smile! **Flash Card:** Your meal allowance (VR) and/or food allowance (VA) on a single card!
