Job Summary: The Cashier Operator is responsible for opening and closing the cash register, processing payments, health insurance plans (convenios), and installment credit (crediario), as well as restocking and pricing products in the sales area. The Cashier Operator is responsible for opening and closing the cash register, processing and receiving payments, health insurance plans (convenios), and installment credit (crediario); As well as restocking and updating product prices in the sales area. **Required Competencies:** * Be friendly and courteous, adhering to a protocol of polite communication with others. * Interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, high ability to notice, interpret, and anticipate others' concerns and feelings, respecting individuality and avoiding interpersonal conflicts. * High level of discipline in following predefined processes. * Ability to abstract oneself from the environment and concentrate on performing tasks or activities. * High level of proactivity, anticipating problems and acting in advance to prevent them. The concept of **initiative** (taking charge of work or starting tasks) falls under this item, as it is a fundamental condition for demonstrating proactive behavior. **Responsibilities:** * Provide customer service for receiving sales payments; * Receive, record, and securely store health insurance plan (convenio) and installment credit (crediario) receipts; * Promote campaign items; * Collect overdue installment credit (crediario) payments; * Organize payment receipts (credit card, check, installment credit); * Perform cash register closing; * Maintain organization and cleanliness of the workplace; * Restock and update product prices on shelves in the sales area. * Maintain organization and cleanliness of store shelves. * Perform other related activities as required by the department or organization
