**Job Description:**

Assist clients and family members during funeral ceremonies for any needs related to the wake; Reserve rooms according to scheduled wakes; Conduct room inspections before and after wakes to ensure everything is in order and report any daily issues to the immediate supervisor; Receive the deceased in the designated room according to the pre-confirmed reservation; Provide all necessary information to the contracting family regarding procedures occurring during the wake period; Open the casket together with the contracting family; Assist family and friends throughout the entire period concerning the final farewell tribute; Place and monitor orders with suppliers for items sold during wakes; Prepare condolence banners as needed; Collect the family’s signature on the customer satisfaction survey; Notify the funeral agent to open the gate to initiate the procession and burial; Assist the funeral agent in closing the casket; Conduct tributes involving petal showers and music as previously contracted by the client; Verify that the room is in order, close the gate, and request environmental cleaning; Check completion of the daily restroom cleaning log; Perform cash register entries and closings; Report any incidents occurring during the shift to the immediate supervisor; Assist the immediate supervisor in managing wake supplies—such as coffee setup, disposables, and cleaning materials—to prevent shortages; Conduct shift handovers to ensure continuity of human-centered service; Maintain a clean and appropriate work environment suitable for performing job duties; Assist with other related tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor.
