Job Summary: The Operational Assistant supports the overall functioning of the unit by performing non-technical tasks, maintenance, organization, vehicle driving, and safeguarding the preservation of assets. Driving vehicles for institutional activities The Legion of Good Will – LBV is hiring an **Operational Assistant**: The **Operational Assistant** is a professional who provides support to the overall functioning of the unit, i.e., all necessary non\-technical activities. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform maintenance services for the facility, furniture, installations, and utensils that do not require specialized labor; * Assist in organizing internal furniture and equipment; * Drive the Institution’s vehicle for its activities, as directed by management; * Assess maintenance and material needs; recommend or arrange qualified technicians for required services; * Conduct purchases when necessary and/or requested; * Collect donations offered to the Institution; * Ensure vehicle preservation and cleanliness, and report maintenance or repair needs; * Assist with cleaning tasks when necessary; * Manage preservation, storage, recovery, and removal of equipment, furniture, and utensils—whether in use or out of service; * And other duties. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed Elementary Education; Required: **Driver’s License Category B**; Preferred experience in minor building maintenance. **Additional Information** * Workload: **220 hours/month** * Schedule: **7:40 AM to 5:28 PM (Monday to Friday)** **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * On-site meals; * Health insurance \- after probationary period; * Dental insurance \- after probationary period; * SESC membership; * Discounts at gyms and sports facilities \- **Wellhub**; * Life insurance; * Training and professional development program.
