Responsibilities and Duties: Key activities include: * Monitoring the meal preparation process; * Guiding staff on correct food handling; * Assessing food storage conditions and determining appropriate storage locations for each product; * Inspecting storage equipment (refrigerators, warming cabinets, cold rooms); * Managing received goods, recording receipt dates and suppliers; * Collecting and storing samples of all prepared foods; * Staying updated on current legislation regarding food storage and handling, as well as refrigerator and cold room temperatures; * Ensuring staff wear appropriate PPE and uniforms; * Scheduling equipment cleaning routines; * Performing other departmental procedures.
