***JOB DESCRIPTION — LOGISTICS AND DISPATCH ASSISTANT*** The Logistics and Dispatch Assistant is responsible for supporting the company's logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and agility across all stages of the material flow—from receipt through to final product dispatch. They directly manage inventory control, material handling, order picking, and delivery support, contributing to on-time delivery, operational quality, and excellence in internal and external service. This professional is essential to ensure logistics processes are carried out safely, systematically, and aligned with production, procurement, sales, and customer requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Receive, inspect, and store materials, verifying compliance with invoices, purchase orders, and specifications. * Identify, record, and report discrepancies, damages, or inconsistencies in received materials. * Strategically, safely, and efficiently organize inventory—optimizing space and facilitating product movement. * Monitor material inflows and outflows, maintaining up-to-date records in inventory and logistics systems. * Assist in conducting periodic inventories and internal audits. * Pick, verify, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time fulfillment. * Perform packaging, labeling, and product identification according to company-established standards. * Support scheduling, tracking, and managing transportation and pickups. * Assist in organizing logistics routes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. * Keep logistics control systems and operational spreadsheets updated. * Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and freight carriers to align demand requirements. * Provide support in communication with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners as needed. * Physically move materials and products within the facility, adhering to safety regulations. * Operate forklifts for transport and load organization, when certified. * Maintain equipment and tools in good condition, clean, and used correctly. * Comply with company safety, organization, and internal procedures. REQUIREMENTS * Completed high school education. * Basic knowledge of logistics, inventory, or dispatch operations. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactivity. * Ability to work effectively in a team. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or dispatch. * Certified Forklift Operator training with valid certification. * Familiarity with inventory and logistics management systems.
