Supports inventory counting and stock control. **JOB MISSION** The mission of the kitchen assistant position is to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and orderly, assisting in food preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of the environment, utensils, and equipment—contributing to high-quality food production and customer satisfaction. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Daily routines performed: ● Sanitize, assist in cutting, washing, and preparing ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and other products. ● Organization and cleaning: Keep the kitchen clean, wash utensils and pots, and maintain workplace organization. ● Assist in cooking and dish preparation: Help the chef cook food according to instructions. ● Prepare simple side dishes such as sauces and salads. ● Food storage: Organize food on shelves, refrigerators, and freezers, adhering to preservation and expiration guidelines. ● Support plating: Assist in decorating and assembling dishes before serving. ● Assist with daily and weekly kitchen cleaning: floors, equipment, cold room organization. ● Count and control supplies and products, ensuring accurate records, preventing waste, and guaranteeing adequate supply for operations.
