A kitchen helper's responsibilities include food pre-preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning), maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, equipment, and utensils, assisting with plating, organizing the work area and pantries, monitoring ingredient inventory, and supporting basic cooking tasks—all under the supervision of experienced cooks and chefs.
