Apply now and become part of our mission of excellence! **GENERAL DESCRIPTION:** This position’s primary mission is to provide occasional security services as required by the assigned post. Guard premises, public and private areas to prevent, control, and combat irregularities. Ensure the safety of people and property, and enforce laws and regulations. Receive and monitor movement of people in both unrestricted and restricted access areas. Inspect people, cargo, and property; escort people and goods. **SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:** This position carries the same responsibilities as a standard security guard, but the employee is notified in advance and must respond within 24 hours whether they accept or decline the assignment. Report all incidents occurring during the surveillance period to immediate supervisor. Monitor and regulate movement and presence of people, vehicles, and material assets as a security measure, performing identification and recording when required. Conduct systematic patrols and inspections of company premises to prevent fires, thefts, unauthorized entry, and other anomalies. Record incidents and actions taken during the shift in the incident logbook to inform the immediate supervisor and support decision-making for correcting identified irregularities. Perform systematic inspections and patrols throughout all areas of the assigned post to prevent situations jeopardizing building integrity, equipment safety, and the security of staff and users.
