




Job Summary: A professional responsible for customer service, handling and organizing meats, quality control, and hygiene in the butcher shop. Key Highlights: 1. Maintenance of hygiene and quality standards in the department RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Provide direct customer service at the butcher counter, including cutting, grinding, and weighing meat to serve customers well. Receive goods, organize department inventory in cold storage, handle food products, prepare marinated items and self-service trays, restock shelves, monitor product expiration dates, verify pricing, clean and organize the department, and provide customer service/sales. Assemble butcher counters and frozen food islands with various cuts of meat according to pre-established quality standards to facilitate sales. Assist in sorting department products into appropriate containers, such as ground meat, chicken cuts, sliced steaks, ribs, and roasted meats; weigh, price, and display them for sale. Update prices on the butcher’s pricing chart as instructed. Keep meat pieces inside cold storage organized to create space for newly arriving items. Maintain order and hygiene in the workplace—washing counters, cold storage units, etc.—to prevent accidents and proliferation of insects, bacteria, etc., ensuring required quality standards.
