Affirmative Action Position for Persons with Disabilities **Department:** Institutional Actuarial **Reports to:** Jorge Junior **Location:** São Paulo/SP **Work Model:** Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) **Application Deadline:** 05/20/2026 **As a Junior Reserves Actuary, your responsibilities will include:** * Handling, extracting, processing, and standardizing actuarial databases, ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability for technical reserve analyses. * Supporting consolidation of actuarial results, key performance indicators (KPIs), and managerial and regulatory reports, contributing to departmental decision-making and regulatory requirements. * Performing initial analyses of technical provisions, actively participating in monthly and quarterly reserve closing processes. * Conducting consistency checks, validation, and reconciliation of technical provisions using tools such as Excel, SAS, and SUSEP regulatory databases. * Contributing to actuarial studies and analyses of claims behavior, risks, and demand patterns to support technical and strategic decisions within the Reserves area. * Supporting internal and external audits by assisting in the collection, organization, and validation of evidence under the guidance of senior actuaries. * Providing technical support for Allianz Group requests, collaborating with local and global teams on standardized actuarial routines. * Ensuring adherence to internal standards, actuarial policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices in governance and compliance. * Projects (scope of the position): Participating in continuous improvement initiatives for actuarial processes—including automation of routines, enhancement of data quality, and responsible use of technology and AI—aligned with the company’s Digital Data guidelines. You will be a strong candidate if you meet the following requirements: * Completed undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science. * 0–2 years of prior experience in actuarial activities, preferably in technical reserves, actuarial controls, or related areas within insurance companies (Junior level). * Intermediate proficiency in Excel for database manipulation and analysis. * Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI to support analyses and reporting. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming or data analysis languages such as SAS, SQL, and/or Python. * Interest in and familiarity with data analysis, information quality, and responsible use of technology and AI, aligned with Allianz’s Digital Data guidelines. **Additional Differentiators (preferred but not required):** * Familiarity with the ResQ system or other actuarial reserve systems used in the insurance market. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Academic or practical experience in data, automation, modeling, analytics, or AI projects applied to insurance—even through internships or university projects. * Experience in medium- or large-scale corporate environments operating under regulatory standards and structured processes. **About Allianz:** We are Allianz Seguros, the world’s #1 insurer, with over 120 years of history in Brazil, continuously evolving every day through innovation and purpose.
