Development of sourcing strategies and supplier management A consulting firm specializing in strategic procurement management for companies in civil construction, heavy industry, and industrial sectors is seeking a Procurement Consultant focused on generating efficiency, cost reduction, and improved performance across clients' supply chains. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Support the execution of procurement projects for clients in civil construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors; * Support Senior and Lead Executives during projects; * Conduct procurement and supply chain process diagnostics to identify improvement opportunities; * Support the development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies; * Participate in negotiations with suppliers of materials, equipment, and services; * Prepare and analyze RFQs/RFPs, comparative evaluation matrices, and contracting recommendations; * Support supplier management and development; * Contribute to structuring procurement policies, processes, and governance; * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and support the development of action plans; * Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial alignment; * Support cost reduction (cost saving) initiatives and contract optimization. ### **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering; * Prior experience covering the full lifecycle of construction projects; * Prior experience in procurement; * Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or heavy industry sectors; * Experience in negotiations and supplier management; * Knowledge of strategic sourcing and cost analysis. ### **Behavioral Profile** * Acuity * Discipline * Planning * Resilience * Teaching aptitude * Communication Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
