Senior Data Engineer - Azure Cloud

Description

FCamara is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Data Engineer to work on Data & AI projects, focusing on building, maintaining, and evolving cloud-based data pipelines—contributing to scalable, efficient solutions aligned with business needs. **Responsibilities and Duties** **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:** * Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines; * Work with distributed processing using **Apache Spark;** * Orchestrate data workflows and routines using **Apache Airflow;** * Develop solutions in **Python**, following engineering best practices; * Work in cloud environments, especially **Microsoft Azure;** * Build and maintain deployment pipelines using **CI/CD** practices; * Work with configuration files and automation using **YAML/YML;** * Use **Docker** for containerizing applications and services; * Develop, test, and document data transformation models using **dbt;** * Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure solution quality, reliability, and performance; * Support technical decisions related to architecture, performance, observability, and data governance. **Requirements and Qualifications** **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:** * **Advanced English is a mandatory requirement**, as it involves participation in meetings, reading technical documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and recording decisions in English; * Experience with **Azure** and related data services; * Solid knowledge of **Python;** * Experience with **Apache Spark;** * Experience with **Apache Airflow;** * Hands-on experience with **CI/CD** practices; * Experience developing and configuring systems using **YAML/YML;** * Knowledge of **Docker;** * Experience with **dbt** for data transformation and modeling; * Familiarity with source code versioning, testing, documentation, and software development best practices. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Experience in consulting projects. * Knowledge of lakehouse architecture, data lake, or data warehouse. * Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Fabric. * Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and data quality. * Experience supporting mission-critical production environments and high-volume data pipelines. **Additional Information** **Here, we are \#OrangeBlood!** We have been operating in the market for 17 years, partnering closely with our clients to deliver transformative experiences.
