Efficient project management and customer interface. **Job Description** =================== **Key Responsibilities:** * **Champion of Safety, Quality, and Value**: Ensures all projects and methodologies prioritize safety, maintain superior quality, and deliver exceptional value. * **Technical Specification Expertise**: Develops detailed technical specifications for diverse projects spanning multiple sectors, including mining, metals, marine, and naval power systems. * **End-to-End Engineering Design Mastery**: Takes ownership of all engineering deliverables tied to specific projects. This includes maintaining power system models, performing studies, generating drawings, compiling material lists, detailing specifications, and creating test and commissioning procedures. * **Efficient Project Management**: Leads projects to completion within designated schedules and allocated budgets, ensuring flawless execution. * **Customer-Centric Interface**: Serves as the primary contact with customers, comprehensively understanding their requirements and expectations to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. * **Sourcing Collaboration**: Works closely with the sourcing team to ensure supplier products meet precise specifications, maintaining high quality standards across the supply chain. * **Compliance and Technical Support**: Actively participates in developing and verifying electrical system models, ensuring meticulous compliance with customer needs and regulatory requirements. This includes conducting analyses such as short-circuit evaluations, arc-flash assessments, protection relay coordination, and power system harmonic verifications. * **Sales Support and Enhancement**: Assists the sales team by thoroughly reviewing customer requirements and effectively highlighting any discrepancies or gaps between those needs and the organization's offered capabilities. * **Project Excellence**: Plays a pivotal role in project reviews, contributing knowledge and insights to ensure high-level project outcomes. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering * Fluent in English and Portuguese * Familiar with PSCAD/DIGSILENT/MATLAB/ETAP, SKM, or other modeling tools. **Desired Characteristics** * Strong sense of ownership for assigned responsibilities. * Ability to multitask across a variety of projects under tight timelines. * Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and is approachable and accessible. * Builds loyalty and commitment and energizes teams through inclusion and personal connection. * Experience and knowledge in power systems design. **Additional Information** ========================== **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No
